Police have released a photo of a dog walker they would like to speak to about an assault on another dog walker earlier this year.
The assault happened in Footscray Meadows, near Five Arches Bridge, in February when a woman allegedly hit and spat at the other dog walker, before kicking their dog.
After originally posting the photo online at the time of the assault, police had to remove it from Facebook.
However, they have now obtained permission to re-post the photo, and are appealing to the public for information about the woman's identity.
Anyone who may know the identity of the woman pictured is urged to contact police on 101, or alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
