Three children's nurseries in Bexley have been voted in the Top 20 day nurseries in London by parents in 2018.

Croft Day nursery in Abbey Wood, Monkey Puzzle in Bexleyheath and ADO Mini-Explorers Outdoor Preschool in Bexley have come out on top after parents were asked to rate their children's nurseries.

While there are no specific rankings within the Top 20 of the daynurseries.co.uk awards, the centres that topped the list were whittled down from almost 2,000 nurseries in the Capital.

The awards are determined by parent recommendations on the Day Nurseries website and were taken from results as of February 28 this year.

Each nursery is rated on a number of features including outside facilities, learning resources, staff, equipment and nutrition.

Current ratings on the website for the three Bexley nurseries show they have been rated 9.9 out of 10 by parents, although these are not necessarily reflective of ratings considered at the time awards were decided.

Michael Farrell of Croft Day nursery said he was "delighted" to receive the award. He said: “We strive hard to be the best that we can be and appreciate the wonderful children and parents we have at The Croft Day Nursery.

"We look forward to continuing to dedicate ourselves in the year and years ahead to provide the same quality childcare for which we have become known.”

Parv and Jenny Choudhury, directors of Monkey Puzzle, said: "We are proud to say that we have hired the most passionate, kind and genuinely caring people.

"The past five years have been an amazing journey and we can honestly say it is the best job in the world."
