An air ambulance had to land on Woolwich Polytechnic’s football pitch after a teenager was stabbed.
Police were called shortly before 3pm on Tuesday (May 1) to reports of a person injured in Thamesmead.
Officers arrived on Southwood Road, next to Birchmere Park, where they found the 19-year-old suffering from a stab wound.
London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance attended at the teenager was taken to hospital.
His injuries have been described as not life-threatening.
A spokesman from Met Police told News Shopper that no arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
