Officers conducting a raid at a home in Downham were faced with two men armed with knives, according to Met Police.
Police executed a search warrant early this morning (April 24) at a house on Keedonwood Road at around 7am.
Once officers were inside the home, police reported the two men inside went and armed themselves with knives.
One officer drew a taser on the men but never discharged it and the two men, aged in their 30s, were arrested.
One of the men was taken to a south London hospital as a precaution while the other remains in custody at a south London police station.
A spokesperson from Met Police said enquiries are continuing.
