A trainee teacher from Bexleyheath is hoping to dazzle judges with her beauty after reaching the final of Miss British Isles 2018.
Danielle McCreedy, 22, entered the competition for the first time in September.
By October, she found out she had made the final 50, after being whittled down from thousands of applicants.
"I'm excited but a bit nervous. I've never done anything like this before," she told News Shopper.
The competition, taking place on May 28 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester, has three rounds: Swimwear, party wear and evening wear.
"I've ordered a few pieces but I'm not sure what I'm going to wear yet," Danielle said.
After moving from Belfast to Bexleyheath for her teacher training at the University of Greenwich, Danielle has been supported by her boyfriend's family who are sponsoring her in the competition through their beauty salon, Indulgence.
Despite the nerves, she is excited for the day: "I'm most looking forward to meeting some of the other contestants. I've met some of the girls already and we keep in touch. They're really supportive."
The winner will receive a modelling contract and £3,000 prize money.
If she wins, Danielle says she will definitely be planning a holiday - in particular, she has her sights set on Bali.
