A person was taken to hospital after a car crashed into a lorry on the fish roundabout in Erith.

The crash happened at lunchtime on Monday, April 23 and saw paramedics and police attend the scene.

A spokesman from Met Police confirmed that police were called to Fraser Road/Bexley Road at 1.26pm to reports of a car colliding with a lorry.

He said: "One man was left with injuries that were not life threatening or changing."

News Shopper has since been contacted by some of the passengers travelling inside the car involved in the collision.

One of the passengers in the car, who asked not to be named, said: "We were on the inside lane coming up to the roundabout with a lorry on our outside.

"We went to carry on straight over the roundabout and the lorry turned into the side of us and spun us around facing the other way."

A spokesman from London Ambulance Service said: 

“We were called at 1:17pm yesterday (23 April) to Fraser Road, Erith, to reports of a road traffic collision. 

“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene. We treated three people at the scene and took a man to hospital as a priority.”
