Police officers in Bexley received a pleasant surprise when an eight-year-old girl approached them with sweets and a letter.
Jessica wanted to thank the officers, who were patrolling Bexleyheath on Monday morning (April 16), for their service.
The letter said: "Thank you for looking after us whilst protecting us. Where would we be without you?"
Bexley MPS said on Twitter it was a gesture which "really goes a long way for our officers".
