The west tunnel of the Dartford crossing is set to be closed until past midday after a "multiple vehicle collision" on the M25.
Highways England South East tweeted that traffic is being diverted through the east tunnel, and that officers are working to re-open the west tunnel.

The pile up occurred this morning on the M25 northbound between Junction 1a and Junction 31.
Traffic England, a live update service from Highways England, says the tunnel is expected to be cleared between 12.15 and 12.30pm.
Kent Police has confirmed: "Kent Police was called to a road traffic collision at 10am on Wednesday 4 April 2018 where it was reported that three vehicles had been involved in a collision inside the west tunnel of the Dartford River Crossing at the A282.
"Officers attended and no injuries were reported.
"The incident was dealt with by 10.30am."
