The peaceful green that is home to Swanscombe's Pavillion was disrupted on Monday after an air ambulance landed next to Broomfield Road and airlifted a woman to hospital.
A passer-by filmed the helicopter making its landing on the green and posted it on Facebook. Other users posted their best wishes as they tried to find out what had happened.
A report from Kent Air Ambulance confirmed it had been called to Swanscombe at 9.08 am to reports of a woman suffering a cardiac-related illness who was taken to King's College Hospital.
It confirmed an adult female had been "carried to hospital by aircraft" for treatment.
South East Coast Ambulance service declined to comment on the woman's condition because emergency services were called to a private address.
