Rail services across the country are warning of a 'network wide' problem with train ticket machines this morning.
Thameslink, Great Northern Rail and Gatwick Express machines have been affected by the problem.
Queues are forming at ticket offices at stations affected due to the lack of working machines.
One passenger tweeted that just one ticket officer was on staff, leading to several people missing their trains as they had to wait in the queue.
Twitter accounts of the rail services have advised passengers who are having problems with tickets to speak to station staff.
📢 There is a network wide issue with our ticket machines, please speak with a member of station staff if you are unable to purchase a ticket.
