South-east London is home to thousands of dirty rotten love cheats - with Bromley having the highest proportion of them.
Or so it goes based on data which has been used to compile the Infidelity Index of London boroughs for 2018.
From the stats, a 'cheating map' has been produced showing where most adulterous people apparently live.
It's formed from the postal addresses of the membership at IllicitEncounters.com, a dating website for married people looking to play away from home and the self-appointed "leading authority" on infidelity.
Scores are given as a percentage of the supposed cheaters in each area against the adult population for the borough.
Greenwich is the most faithful borough in SE London, with 2.17 per cent of its population (or 6,089 people) cheating on their partners.
It’s the seventh most faithful borough in all of London.
Bromley is the most adulterous borough in SE London with 3.02 per cent of its adult population cheating (1,468 people) - but it does seem to be cleaning up its act slightly, slipping eight places on the London rankings to 12th place overall.
Lewisham meanwhile is the 12th most faithful with 7,541 apparent cheaters equalling 2.49 per cent of the population.
And Bexley is ninth best behaved with 2.32 per cent of people seeking affairs, or 5,663.
Slightly further afield, Croydon is the most adulterous borough in South London, and the 6th most in London.
Christian Grant, Illicit Encounters’ spokesperson said: “Live in Greenwich? Well then it’s cause for celebration. However, just a few miles down the road in Croydon is a hotbed of infidelity, with over 18,000 cheats looking for an affair.”
Richmond is the capital’s most adulterous borough, while Ealing is the most faithful.
The most adulterous town in the country is Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire, while Wigan in Greater Manchester is the most faithful.
