These guys take a huge amount of pride in their pub, especially their roast dinners on a Sunday. Not only can you choose from chicken, lamb or steak, Jam Circus is well known for its vegan roasts served with all the yummy trimmings. What more could you want on a Sunday?

The Green Pea - Greenwich

Situated in Trafalgar Road, TripAdvisor calls this one of the best restaurants in London. It is not stingy with portions - these guys want you to get your value for money so you get a proper sized portion to get you through the Sunday afternoon lull.

Raymond’s Pie and Mash Shop - Eltham

Raymond’s was a favourite of the Shopper readers. You told us that not only do they do the best roast, the service is always amazing and you get a glass of wine included. Sounds good to us.

The Imperial Arms - Chislehurst

This place is serving lovely, fresh, piping hot roast dinners every Sunday to its loyal customers. There is so much to choose from on this particular menu as it is specific to Sundays so you won’t get it any other time of the week. From chicken with homemade stuffing to roast lamb or beef and even a vegetarian option, there is something for everyone. All roasts are served with all the trimmings you could dream of.

The Volunteer - Plumstead

This is a great all-round pub. It has events most nights of the week including karaoke and a good old pub quiz. Then you can come along on a Sunday and sample its yummy roast dinners to keep you going until Monday.

This Italian restaurant promises great things for your Sunday lunch and has a huge range of choices so everyone will find something to their liking. You can have the traditional roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce or you could choose fresh cod with wholegrain mustard sauce and crushed new potatoes. For an alternative you could choose the slow-roasted rabbit with sun-dried tomatoes, gnocchi and basil and smoked bacon with crushed potatoes.

The Railway - Bromley North

The Railway Tavern is great for Sunday lunch because if for some bizarre reason you don’t like roast dinners, there are still meals for you. It serves the traditional roast with all the lovely potatoes and Yorkshire puddings, but there is also fish and chips and sausage and mash.
