An estate agents has named the winner of its 'Best Restaurant Award' in Bromley and Croydon.

Turkish restaurant Havet, on Bromley High Street, scooped the prize.

Residents in Bromley and Croydon voted for their favourite restaurant on social media via Proctors poll.

Havet opened in 2013 and the assistant manager said he was honoured to win the award.

Cem Hassan added: "I’d like to thank our hard-working servers, chefs and most importantly, our customers.

"We love being part of Bromley’s thriving restaurant scene, and being voted the local public’s favourite restaurant means a lot to all the staff."

The staff were given a framed certificate and a window sticker to commemorate the success.

Proctors revealed its runners up as: Sapore Vero, Chapter One, Joanna's, Bagatti’s and Prima Donnas.

"Held quarterly, we’ve started the year with ‘Best Restaurant’ to give the restaurants of Bromley and Croydon the recognition they deserve.
