A fifth man has been charged with murder following the death of Jozef Boci after he was attacked in Greenwich.
Andrew Adekoya, 21, of Maitland Close in Greenwich, was charged with murder yesterday evening (February 27) and is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.
Adekoya is the fifth man to be charged with the murder of Mr Boci after he died from his injuries on February 23.
London Ambulance Service and Met Police were called to Greenwich High Road in the early hours of February 17 where they found Mr Boci unconscious in the street.
He had serious head injuries and was rushed to a south London hospital, but died there a few days later.
Mr Boci was originally from Albania but was living in Catford and had many friends living in the UK.
The other four men charged with his murder are:
• Oluwatimilehin Oniyitan, 20, of Archery Road, Eltham SE9;
• Ibrahim James, 21, of Plumstead High Street;
• Dominic Brown, 29, of Woolwich Common;
• Abaraye Campbell, 21. of St Margarets Terrace in Plumstead.
Hugo Verdades, 21, of Granite Street in Greenwich, has been charged with violent disorder, possession of an offensive weapon and conspiracy to commit GBH.
