Four fire engines and 21 firefighters have rushed to put out a house alight in Blackheath.
London Fire Brigade were called to the scene at 2.35pm, where the ground floor of a house converted into maisonettes was on fire.
The house fire in Wemyss Road was just down the road from Blackheath High Junior School, although they have confirmed the fire was of no danger to them.
Fire crews from East Greenwich, Lee Green and Lewisham stations were at the scene.
The blaze was out by 3.30pm and cause of the fire is not known at this stage.
