These are the takeaways in the borough of Dartford who hygiene inspectors told them urgent improvement is required.
The details, correct as of February 24, are published on the government’s Food Standards Agency website.
Ratings are given to businesses which reflect the standards of food hygiene found when they were inspected by Dartford Council officers within the last few months.

There are three elements involved:
1. How hygienically the food is handled – how it is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored.
2. The condition of the structure of the building(s) – the cleanliness, layout, lighting, ventilation, and other facilities
3. How the business manages what is does to make sure food is safe and so that the officer can be confident standards will be maintained in the future.

All business featured in this article have been inspected from October and December last year.
As all details are correct at the time of published, nothing will be amended or removed.
However, if any of the businesses featured here respond with why they received a low score and what they have done to rectify the issues then it will be updated.
