A mosque in Bromley welcomed people of all faiths as part of an annual event organised by the Muslim Council of Britain.
The 'Visit My Mosque Open Day' was held at the Al-Emaan Centre in Keston on Sunday (February 18).
The mosque - which opened 18 months ago - was visited by the Mayor Kathy Bance and Bromley Police officers.
Member of the mosque Syed Hussain said: "Sunday was a special opportunity to inform and educate in detail about the different dimensions of Muslim life inside a mosque."
One resident who attended said: "I felt a very warm loving atmosphere and was joyed to see that the mosque is very community based."
The Al-Emaan Centre said their open day was well attended with a broad range of people visiting.
Liberal democrat candidate for Bromley Town, Rhian Kanat, said it was a "wonderful day".
A statement read: "A huge thanks to the Centre for the warm welcome, hospitality and lovely exhibits. Great to hear more about their inter faith community work too."
