Police are appealing for witnesses after a suspected assault in Greenwich left a man hospitalised with serious head injuries.
London Ambulance Service and Police arrived at 2.15am last Saturday (February 17) to reports of a man lying unconscious in Greenwich High Road.
The victim was a man in his 30s who was taken to a south London hospital for treatment.
He remains at the hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Met Police has said at this early stage they believe the victim was assaulted by a group of men, but at this stage no arrests have been made.
