People have been expressing their jealousy over Plumstead's attractive new water features after multiple pipes burst in the town.
A fountain, compared to those seen in Italy or Austria, erupted from the pavement from Voce Road this morning (February 19).
Nikki Marshall captured the beautiful spray on camera and it wasn't the only burst pipe in the area this morning.
Water burst through the pavement in Flaxton Road, artfully scattering pebbles and bits of stone slabs across the path.
Sandra Bauer captured a lucky photo of what she called a "nice new water feature", adding to the already flooded street with the early morning rain.
One Facebook group Plumstead People wrote: "That is just beautiful. My you posh folk up that end of Plumstead. Well jealous."
A spokesperson from Thames Water said: “We’ve had engineers at Flaxton Road since 8am this morning working to repair a burst on a 4 inch diameter pipe.
"We’re sorry for any disruption caused, and will get everything back to normal as soon as possible.”
