Lee Gregory struck five minutes before half-time to cancel out Junior Hoilett’s opener as Millwall made it five Championship games unbeaten and ten without defeat at the Den in all compeitions.

The Lions equalised after Hoilett founds the net three minutes in through Gregory shortly before half-time.

Minutes before the end, 38-year-old Tim Cahill was brought on as the two sides shared a point in the end.

Here's how News Shopper rated Millwall's players...

Jordan Archer – 6 – Flapped at a few Cardiff corners early on, but helpless with the goal.

Mahlon Romeo - 6 – Was booked within the first two minutes for a foul on Junior Hoilett and was then pick-pocketed by the same man who punished him by giving Cardiff the lead.

Shaun Hutchinson - 7 – Made a huge tackle on Sean Morrison midway through the first-half, and that moment seemed to turn the game Millwall’s way.

Jake Cooper - 7 – Made a perfectly-timed tackle late in the game to deny a certain goal.

James Meredith - 7 – The game turned into a real battle in the second half, which played right into his hands. Linked up well with Marshall down the left.

Jed Wallace - 8 – Excellent assist for Gregory and was a constant threat all night on the counter-attack. Had a snapshot saved by Etheridge.

Ryan Tunnicliffe – 8 - Won the ball back on many occasions to set his side away. Did a fine job of protecting the back four and worked his socks off all night.

George Saville – 7 – Best performance in a while. Made a big tackle early on and didn’t look back from there. Got forward much more than he has been in recent weeks.

Ben Marshall – 7 – Very encouraging debut. Tried to be positive whenever he could and put over a delicious cross for Morison in the first half, who struck the bar. Had an effort in the second half that was well-saved.

Steve Morison - 7 – Inches away from his third of the season as his thunderous volley crashed the bar. Had a few other chances but fired them straight at Neil Etheridge. Lovely pass for Wallace in the build-up for the goal.

Lee Gregory – 8 – Outstanding performance. Came close to scoring five minutes before half-time but his 25-yard effort went just side of the post, but seconds later he did bring Millwall level, coolly firing into the roof of the net. Man of the match.
