A Woolwich drug dealer has been jailed after police raided his home and found cocaine in his freezer.
Officers descended on Joel Henry's home in Lord Warwick Street on November 1 last year.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of £10,000 was found in the 40-year-old's home, including a large amount of it stored in his freezer in the kitchen.
Bigger quantities were also stored in a compressed form in his bedroom.
Henry pleaded guilty to possessing drugs with intent to supply yesterday (February 7) at Woolwich Crown Court.
He was sentenced to three years and four months behind bars.
DC Stacey Bates who led the investigation said: "Drug dealing and the associated criminal activity that comes with it brings misery to our communities.
"I hope this sentencing sends a strong message to those who choose to deal drugs - Greenwich police will target you, arrest you and put you before the courts to face the consequences."
