TWO accidents in the Dartford Tunnel have caused long delays on the M25 tonight.
Thames-side firefighters said they cut a 45-year-old woman out of a car after two vehicles collided in the tunnel at 2.55pm today.
Shortly after this accident, there was another crash on the other carriageway of tunnel, just after the exit.
It is not known if anyone was injured in this collision.
The 45-year-old was taken to Darent Valley Hospital.
Crews from Thames-side and Dartford attended the accident in the tunnel.
It is believed a crew from Swanscombe attended the second accident.
One tunnel is closed while the emergency services work at the scene.
The other re-opened at 4.20pm this afternoon after initially being closed.
