UPDATE -
Blackwall Tunnel has RE-OPENED southbound, and all lanes open at the scene of the earlier collision after the tunnel exit. Traffic remains very heavy but you should start to see some movement. Incident fully cleared.

The Blackwall Tunnel has been closed after an oil spillage that was caused by an earlier crash involving two vans.
The crash happened on the A102 Blackwall Tunnel Approach Eastbound between A2203 Blackwall Lane / Tunnel Avenue and A206 Woolwich Road / Peartree Way (Woolwich Road Flyover).
Emergency services are currently cleaning up the oil spillage.
Drivers are warned to expect long delays as traffic is heavy approaching the tunnel.
