Two cars and two scooters went up in flames after a "firebombing" in Blackheath yesterday (January 22).
At around 5am Met Police officers who were patrolling the area noticed a "thick, black smoke" coming from the direction of Blackheath Hill.
They drove to Copperwood Place, outside Aspen House, where two cars and two scooters were alight.
A police spokesman said: "London Fire Brigade attended and put out the fire.
"At this early stage, it is being treated as a suspected arson.
"No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue. If you have any information that can assist police, call 101."
