Sky is offering a new package which will have 80 channels more than the previous bundle for the same price.
The company’s Original bundle- which had 270 channels- will be transforming into a Sky Entertainment package offering more than 350, including Sky Atlantic, MTV and Discovery.
However, the package, available for £20 to both new and existing customers, will not include Sky Cinema or Sky Sports.
Also worth noting is that current customers will not be switched onto the package automatically, and the new package requires an 18-month contract.
Viewers will be able to personalise their package as well as adding on extras for £5, allowing access to HD, about 450 box sets or children’s channels.
A spokesman for Sky said: “We’re introducing a new TV package called Sky Entertainment, which will let customers make Sky TV their own by personalising it based on what they love to watch.
“All customers will be able to enjoy the new package from January.”
