A Bromley woman has appeared in court after she was arrested during a prison visit.
Sarah Mccann, of Westmoreland Road, was charged with one count of bringing a prohibited item into prison after she was seen allegedly handing an item to a prisoner at HMP Swaleside on the Isle of Sheppey at around 6pm on Monday (January 15).
The 30-year-old appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Wednesday (January 17) and is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Valentine's Day.
