Drugs with a street value of around £50,000 was found in a car in Abbey Wood - but that was just the tip of the iceberg for police.
When the Greenwich Gangs Unit searched an abandoned car on Thistlebrook Estate in Abbey Wood, yesterday (January 17) they weren't sure what they would find.
Turns out there was approximately £50,000 (street value) worth of drugs in the car.
The search wasn't over with yet.
Further enquiries led to a "large cannabis factory" just metres away from the car.
Now the police are asking that if the owner of the car finds they are missing anything to get in touch.
