Pupils should learn the national anthem in school, according to an MP.

Andrew Rosindell, Conservative MP for Romford, believes teaching God Save the Queen to children would instil a greater sense of national identity.

He’s also called for the anthem to be played more often, including by the BBC.

A YouGov survey found a third of Brits overall and more than half of young people were unsure of the words.
