A woman was robbed and sexually assaulted by an attacker who 'walked off' in broad daylight.
Police were called at about 3pm yesterday, January 16, to a report of a woman in her 30s being robbed and sexually assaulted in Picardy Street in Belvedere.
Police are looking for a black man, believed to be between 20 to 25 years old, who is believed to have pushed the woman into a bush and demanded money.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "He sexually assaulted the victim before he walked off towards Picardy Road."
No arrests have been made, and police are appealing for witnesses about what happened.
