Land in Chelsfield could become the legal home for a homeless 'gypsy traveller family' if a planning application is accepted by Bromley Council.
The proposed site is 0.9 hectares and is located east of Chelsfield Lane.
If granted, the family will have permission to have one static caravan and one touring caravan along with parking spots for two vehicles.
A day room and a stable would also be constructed if Bromley Council accepts the proposals.
The application was submitted by a Ms Phyllis Smith.
She would live on-site with her immediate family who are currently homeless.
A statement on the application reads: "The proposed site is sustainable. It lies in an area of land, part of a larger field with a stable, part of the stable is proposed as a day room which is connected to water, electricity and a septic tank."
The site is one mile away from the nearest shops.
Chelsfield train station is also nearby.
The land referred to in the application is not part of Lilly's Farm in Chelsfield Lane.
