Have you ever decided to opt for a takeaway on Christmas day and ditch the traditional turkey and roast potato dinner?
Hungryhouse.co.uk has revealed the takeaway thousands of people in the UK will be chowing down on this December 25.
Based on orders placed Christmas 2016, the online food ordering platform can reveal that pizza is officially the most popular Christmas Day takeaway.
Last year hungryhouse sold one pizza once every seven seconds with Margherita as the most popular, followed by meat feast and Hawaiian.
Next on the list of most popular food was chicken, with burgers coming third and Indian in fourth, there were eve a few orders for sushi.
The statistics also show we’re a divided nation when it comes to our festive food choices, with those in Yorkshire and the North-East opting for burgers above anything else. It’s all-about-Italian for those in the south east, south west and London.
Scotland is revealed as the only region fanatical about Chinese food with nearly a quarter (24 per cent) ordering it on Christmas Day 2016.
