Night owls can rejoice as London Overground starts an all-night service to and from New Cross Gate.
The service which usually stops around midnight will now go through the night on Fridays and Saturdays.
In the new year the service will be extended to run between New Cross Gate and Highbury and Islington.
London Mayor, Sadiq Khan said: “The Night Tube has proven such a success with Londoners, I know the Night Overground will help thousands more who are working through the night or out enjoying our capital’s nightlife.”
Fares on the London Overground night service are off-peak and travel cards are valid on the day of issue and for any journey before 4.30am the following day.
