A family are desperately appealing for a father to come home after he disappeared after making a tearful goodbye to his children.

Jason Urbanowicz disappeared from Newmarket in Suffolk at about 5.30am yesterday (December 12).

Jason's sister, Julie, said he did not turn up to work, leaving his girlfriend with the intent of harming himself.

In an emotional plea for information, Julie said Jason drove to say goodbye to his three children near Dartford.

Julie said: "At 7.40am he drove to Kent to say goodbye to his three children crying and hasn’t been seen since.

"His phone is off and all he has on is a t-shirt. He has a burnt orange Volvo.

"Maybe they see him at a petrol station or walking alone. Please help we are going out of our minds. To say goodbye to his three kids this morning is not a good sign. I love him dearly and want him home.

"So overwhelmed. He has no coat in no clothes was taken for him to stay anywhere. He has had two stokes and all his medications are at home."

Suffolk Police said Jason is white, approximately 5ft 9ins and has a broad build.

A spokesman said: "It is believed that Jason travelled to Kent in his red Volvo C30 three-door car, however he is also known to have connections in Cambridge.

"Officers are concerned for his welfare and are asking anyone who has seen Jason or who has any information on where he may be to contact Suffolk Police on 101."

This morning Julie added: "His phone is still off. No trace nothing from him. Had no sleep just hoping he will contact me. I have told him come home and no matter what has happened we can help him."

Jason was last seen in a white checked shirt, navy jeans and a grey cable knit jumper.

Julie's plea has been shared 32,032 times.
