There are long queues at the Dartford Crossing this evening, with delays of up to an hour and a half.
Traffic England is reporting ‘stop-start traffic’ on the M25 clockwise at the Dartford Tunnel, with congestion to the A21/A224 at Orpington.
The traffic is not being helped by the suspension of the Woolwich Ferry. Large vehicles cannot use the Blackwall Tunnel and therefore have to go through the Dartford Crossing.
Traffic England said normal traffic conditions are not expected until between 9pm and 9.45pm today (November 24).
