Tributes have been paid to the victim of a fatal van crash on the A2 near Dartford.

Twenty-year-old Leon Darling, from Canterbury, is being named locally as the man who was pronounced dead at the scene on Wednesday night, on the A2 slip road for the M25.

Mr Darling's sister, Billie-Jo Darling Lee, paid tribute to her brother online.

She said: "Rip my angle I will c you soon my baby my rock my word my life my every think I don't no what to do my Leon Lee my baby brother I love u my angle I c u soon xxx"

His brother, Sam Mark, also posted a tribute. He said: "I love u so much an gonna miss u so much I dunno what gona do without u I fell lost u are my everything my bby brother my rock ur now up with the angels x xxxx"

A friend wrote: "Way too young to be taken from us ... heaven now has another ANGEL and we all have a another a beautiful handsome face too miss..I have always classed you as one of mine in my heart and always will .loved you yesterday .. love you today and will love you always.xx my heart and thoughts and all my prayers go out to your family.xx"

A blue Ford Transit van is believed to have hit the barrier before rolling over at about 10pm on Wednesday, November 22.

Police arrested one man on suspicion of driving offences and he remains in custody.
