A 13-year-old girl has reported being sexually assaulted in an incident that is being connected to a string of other attacks in south-east London.
The schoolgirl was approached by a man in Middle Park Avenue, Eltham, at about 7.45am on Tuesday (November 21).
The man, described as white, tall, approximately 50 years old, with light blond hair, allegedly put his hand up her skirt.
A letter, sent out by Corelli College in Blackheath, claims the incident is being linked to an ongoing investigation into sexual assaults against women and girls in Lewisham and Greenwich.
The college said: "I would urge you to speak to your children about this incident and encourage them to be vigilant in walking to and from school.
"They should call the police if they see anyone matching the description above."
A spokeswoman for Corelli College said several schools have now put an alert out to parents.
The Met Police have been approached for further comment.
