A Coulsdon housing development has picked up another award.
Cane Hill Park was awarded five stars and consequently won the Best Residential Development in Surrey at the UK Property Awards.
Southern and London regional managing director for Barratt and David Wilson Homes, Gary Ennis, said: “We are extremely proud that Cane Hill Park has picked up yet another award for its quality homes and attractive setting in Coulsdon.
"We have worked extremely hard to ensure that the sought-after development is in-keeping with the local area and appeals to local buyers.
"This is the second award that we have won here this year which is an excellent achievement. Well done to the entire team; from our apprentices to our site managers who all work hard to ensure that Cane Hill Park is an address to be proud of.”
Now in its second phase of new homes, Cane Hill Park was built on land which has been unused since the closure of the Cane Hill hospital 25 years ago. The hospital was acquired from the Department of Health in 2005 and Barratt and David Wilson Homes were selected as developers in 2012.
