A campaign to collect cosy pyjamas for kids with cancer this Christmas is in full swing.

The Pyjama Fairies, a group including mums whose children have suffered from cancer, are trying to collect 2,000 pairs of new pyjamas.

Last year the Fairies delivered 1569 pairs to children diagnosed and being treated with cancer across the south east of England.

The pyjamas will be sent to kids in the following hospitals: The Royal Marsden Children’s Cancer Ward, Croydon University, Croydon Hospital at Home, William Harvey Ashford, St Georges Tooting, Queen Elizabeth Woolwich, Demelza Childrens Hospice, QEQM Margate and Evalina Childrens Hospital London.

Pyjamas need to be brand new and must not be wrapped as they have to be checked by the individual hospitals.

Sizes are needed for both boys and girls from newborn to age 16.

Donations can be made until December 8.
