Fashion photography and engineering aren’t two things which usually go hand in hand.
Rankin Studios has shot everyone from The Queen, to Kate Moss, to Madonna and can now add Croydon's Ozak Esu to the list.
Who is Ms Esu and why is he having her picture taken you might ask?
Well she has been shortlisted for this year's Institution of Engineering and Technology's Young Women Engineering of the Year Awards and as a way to "break down gender stereotypes in the industry," Rankin Studios was commissioned by the IET to create a short series of all the finalists.
IET diversity and inclusion manager Jo Foster said: "One of the difficulties in attracting women is often down to the image of engineers within the UK, which are perceived as masculine, unglamorous and usually depicts people wearing hard hats and overalls.
"The reality is very different.
"Engineering is an exciting and highly paid career. It’s diverse, creative and offers the opportunity to do something life – or even – world changing.”
The Croydon electrical engineer will be up against five other women who hope to take out the prestigious award.
