A woman was taken hospital with head injuries after she was hit by a bus in Lewisham.
Met Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 11.25am after reports of a collision on the high street.
A spokeswoman from LAS said: “We treated a woman at the scene for a head injury and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
Lewisham High Street was closed off for more than an hour after the crash.
One witness told News Shopper: "Someone has been hit by a bus. The bus windscreen has been cracked."
A number of people have said they believe the high street is dangerous for pedestrians.
Rachel Holdsworth wrote on Twitter: "Someone's been knocked over by Lewisham market. Surprised it doesn't happen more often, what with the TOTAL LACK of formal crossings.”
