A campaign meeting to defend a village from doubling in size is scheduled for Sunday.
At 3pm the Campaign for Colney will be meeting in the Caledon Club, Caledon Road to discuss the impact of a proposed new settlement.
The proposed meeting the address the plans for Hertsmere Borough Council to build a new garden village of up to 8,000 new homes that would neighbour London Colney.
Residents are upset that they have not been consulted about the plans, nor that any representative from Hertsmere council will be there.
Among those attending are St Albans MP Anne Main as well as members from London Colney Parish Council.
