Andros Townsend believes Crystal Palace are turning a corner under boss Roy Hodgson.

The Eagles have taken four points from three games, and their first win of the season came against Premier League champions Chelsea.

And Townsend, whose performances have improved since Hodgson’s arrival in September, wants bottom-club Palace to go on an unbeaten run.

The winger said: “In the last three games we’ve seen a different Crystal Palace.

“We played fantastically against Chelsea and got three points, did not get the result we deserved against Newcastle and then against West Ham got the minimum we deserved.

“Having been 2-0 down with half an hour left, you would take a point. You have seen the difference since the manager came in.

“We have got a good side and we need to build on that and hopefully you will see us go on a run.

“This can give everyone a lift in the dressing room. It gives the fans a lift. We go home with a point and more belief than we had before.

“These last-minute goals can change seasons and hopefully that happens for us.”

Palace take on Tottenham at Wembley on Sunday hoping to cause an upset.
