Bromley police are always keen to unite lost dogs with their owners.
But they must feel some sadness when their canine visitors are taken home.
Yesterday a dog was found by police on Bromley Hill near Ravensbourne.
They put out an appeal on Twitter trying to find the dog's owner.
But since then the dog has made itself at home in the police station and the police have called him Winston.
When the dog's owner is found, there will probably be some tears of joy and sadness.
Anybody who owns the dog should call the police station and quote Ref CAD 7220/22OCT17.
