A pair of alleged burglars have been left feeling ruff after a police dog helped catch them in New Ash Green.
Police were called to a reported burglary at a shop in The Row at 1.20am on September 18 where a window had been smashed and two men had made off.
It was not long before a a 26-year old man from New Ash Green was found and arrested thanks to help from Parker the police dog.
Parker and his handler tracked from the scene of the burglary and soon found cigarettes, balaclavas and gloves. The track continued into Lambardes where another 25-year-old man from Higham was found.
Both men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been subsequently bailed pending further investigation.
