Armed police stormed a house in Downham last Friday.
The incident took place on Arcus Road at around 2pm.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers from the Organised Crime Command attended the address along with armed officers.
They said the raid was part of a pre-planned operation.
Three men were arrested at the location and were then taken to an east London police station.
The spokesperson said no firearms were discharged and there were no injuries. Enquiries are still being made.
