A man has been charged with arson after a vehicle was found alight inside a business in a Northfleet industrial estate.
Police were called to Grove Road to reports of the vehicle on fire on Friday September 22 at 8.30pm.
Kenny Kay, of Black Eagle Drive, was arrested in the early hours of Saturday, September 23 and was charged with arson and five counts of criminal damage.
He was also charged with common assault relating to a separate incident.
Kay, 27, is due in court on Monday September 25.
A 21-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of arson and has been released on bail until Friday October 13.
