Most people enjoy getting merry with a bottle of beer or a few glasses of wine every now and then.
But they wouldn't dream of driving a car after they had had a few.
Unfortunately, it would appear not everyone in Bromley is so sensible.
Bromley police say they pulled a man over in Hayes who had a bottle of vodka on his passenger seat.
When they took him into custody and gave him a breathalyser test they discovered he was four times over the legal limit.
The drink-driver claimed he hadn't touched a drink for a month and that he had been going 'cold chicken.'
