An Orpington school has been judged 'good with outstanding features' by Ofsted.

Inspectors were impressed with the way staff helped pupils with their personal development and wellbeing at St Peter and St Paul Catholic Primary Academy on St Paul’s Wood Hill.

The report said: “Pupils are confident and enthusiastic learners who display very good attitudes to learning.

“They are very well behaved and respectful”, “The quality of teaching is consistently good” and “Leaders have high aspiration of themselves, staff and pupils.”

The Chair of Governors, Mrs Lecybyl said: “It’s a delight that Ofsted have recognised the clear vision and ethos of the Academy and how every member of the Academy is valued.

“Having both the quality of education and the behaviour of the pupils identified by Ofsted is a gratifying acknowledgement of the hard work put in throughout every day.”
