The Mayor of Bromley opened a garden at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) earlier this month.
Cllr Kathy Bance MBE came to open the revamped garden area between the PRUH and Sainsbury's car park on September 5.
Benches were donated by a group called the Friends, and two companies: Coolings Green and Pleasant and also Vinci.
Pauline Allard, Chair of the Friends said: "The Friends felt that the area was underused.
"We wanted to turn it into a useful area for patients, staff and visitors to relax in.
"A huge thank you to the Mayor for attending our opening ceremony, as well as everyone who supported the transformation."
Matthew Trainer, Managing Director for the PRUH and South Sites, said: "The new garden looks wonderful – Pauline and the Friends have done a brilliant job in making the area into a pleasant place for patients and staff."
