When crime happens in your area it may feel as if there is nothing you can do about it.

But Bromley residents will get the chance to have their say about crime in the borough this month.

The Bromley Crime summit will be held on September 30.

It is being put on by the Bromley Safer Neighbourhood Board and will take place in the Bromley Civic Centre, on Stockwell Close.

The main event run from 10am to 1pm.

Sessions at the summit will include:

Tackling Gangs Campaign - Bromley Youth Council.

Borough Police Update - Deputy Borough Commander Trevor Lawry.

Police Front Counters Provision Consultation - Representative from MOPAC (Mayors Office for Policing and Crime).

Cyber Fraud & Scams - Matthew Bowler from City of London Police who are the National Policing Lead for Cyber Crime.

Q&A - All of the above speakers plus LFB and LBB.

Free pastries and drinks will be served at 9:30am in the Information Stands area.

There will be free parking at the car park accessed via Rochester Avenue.
